Bat is a minor character, appearing only in the story "Franklin and His Night Friend." Franklin first meets Bat in his backyard just as he's about to go to bed. He is surprised to learn that Bat stays awake at night and even more surprised to learn that he sleeps upside-down during the day. Finding Bat cool, Franklin starts trying to copy everything that Bat does, even designing himself a bat costume. Voiced by Jonathan Malen.
