- Ermine is voiced by John Hagley, and his grandmother by the late Kay Hawtrey (who also voiced Mrs. Heron in this show).
- Interestingly, Hawtrey also voiced another grandmother in another Nelvana-produced children's animated series, Little Bear, in which she voiced Emily's grandmother.
