In almost every episode of the show, Franklin, along with his family, friends and neighbours learn everyday morals and life-lessons throughout the series. Here on this page is a list of morals throughout the series.
NOTE: Not everything may be in airing order.
Season 1[]
- "Franklin Plays the Game" - Franklin and his friends (well, any on his team, anyway) learn how to cooperate as a team in soccer.
- "Franklin Wants A Pet" - Franklin learns how to take care of a pet.
- "Hurry Up, Franklin" - Franklin learns not to dawdle.
- "Franklin's Bad Day" - Two morals:
- Franklin learns that having a bad day doesn't make misbehavior okay.
- He also learns that there are ways to keep a friendship with someone who has moved away.
- "Franklin Goes to School" - Franklin learns how to adjust to school.
- "Franklin Is Lost" - Franklin and Fox both learn that an order not to go certain places is for a reason: safety.
- "Franklin Has a Sleepover" - Bear learns how to deal with homesickness.
- "Franklin's Halloween" -
- "Franklin Rides a Bike" - Franklin learns how to ride a bicycle.
- "Franklin and the Tooth Fairy" - Franklin learns that there are more signs of growing than just losing a baby tooth and not to trick the tooth fairy.
- "Franklin and the Red Scooter" - Franklin learns that making money is not easy.
- "Franklin and the Baby" - Bear learns how to be a good big brother.
Season 2[]
- "Franklin and Otter's Visit" - Franklin and Bear both learn to make a visitor, including a former neighbor, feel at home when he or she is visiting, and how to do things like he or she does; likewise, Otter learns how to play baseball.
- "Franklin's Collection" - Franklin and his friends learn about the rocks the former collected.
- "Franklin Runs Away" - Franklin and Snail both learn that just because somebody gets angry with you for something you do does not mean that he or she doesn't love (or even like) you.
- "Franklin the Spy" - Franklin and Bear both learn not to get carried away in pretending.
- "Franklin and the Broken Globe" - Franklin and Bear both learn to fess up to their mistakes instead of letting someone else feel guilty for it.
- "Franklin's Test" - Franklin learns not to cheat, and that learning is more important than any prize.
Season 3[]
- "Franklin and His Night Friend" - Franklin learns how to have friendship with someone who has a different sleep schedule.
- "Franklin and the Two Henrys" - Bear learns to be more careful when petsitting and to confess when he messes up.
- "Franklin and the Computer" - Franklin learns two things:
- Not to go over to a friend's house just to play with something that belongs to him or her.
- That friendship is more important than getting a high score.
- "Franklin's Nature Hike" - Franklin learns that just because Snail is the smallest and slowest doesn't mean he needs help with absolutely everything.
- "Franklin's Starring Role" - Franklin learns that any part in a play, including a non-acting part, is important.
Season 4[]
- "Franklin and the Puppet Play" - Beaver learns not to boss her friends around, especially in a puppet show.
- Franklin and the Green Knight - Franklin learns that his parents will always have time for him even when he has a new baby sibling, and Snail learns that Franklin will still have time for him.
Season 5[]
- "Franklin's Bargain" - Franklin learns that it's easy to make a bargain but it takes effort and commitment to keep it.
- "Franklin's Crystal" - Franklin and Beaver learn not to fight over an earthly object.
- "Franklin's Advice" - Franklin learns when a shell crack can heal on its own and when it needs professional help; Snail learns to actually tell his parents no matter the price he may have to pay.
- "Franklin's Picnic" - Franklin learns that trying new foods is good, and not to be a picky eater.
Season 6[]
- Back to School with Franklin - Two morals:
- Franklin and his friends learn about accepting change, including newer soccer skills.
- Harriet learns how to be a good friend with someone else.
- "Franklin and the Swimming Party" - Franklin learns not to spill embarrassing secrets about others and not to be afraid to attend a certain party.
- "Franklin's Soccer Field Folly" - Franklin learns to find the humor in his own situation.
- "Franklin Migrates" - Franklin learns about new holidays and traditions from Goose.
- "Franklin the Photographer" - Franklin learns about taking pictures.
- "Franklin's Word" - Franklin learns not to use certain words and to set a good example for Harriet.
- "Franklin Figure Skates" - Franklin learns how to figure-skate and to skate backwards.
- "Franklin in Charge" - Franklin learns that while it's good to be responsible, not everyone can do everything and it's okay to ask for help.
