Franklin Wiki

Mr. Fox is Fox's father. He is voiced by the late Paul Haddad.

Plot[]

Mr. Fox works as a junk collector and handyman and stresses the value of hard work ("Elbow Grease"). Mr. Fox also drives the school bus. In the sixth season, Mr. Fox forms the Woodland Trailblazers, a sort of combination boy/girl scout group. Franklin and his friends all join. In Franklin and Friends, he is also shown to be a volunteer firefighter.

He attends the Turtle family baby shower along with his wife Mrs. Fox in Franklin and the Green Knight. He and his wife present Mr. and Mrs. Turtle with a pair of baby booties for the new baby. Mr. Fox comments that children outgrow clothes so quickly, you sometimes wish that they stayed babies forever. This prompts laughter from all of the adults, but troubles Franklin, whose friends have told him that grown-ups like babies best and that they won't have time for him when the baby comes. Later, when Mr. Turtle comments that there'll be time to put up the baby's mobile before spring comes, Mr. Fox comments that the hopes it'll come soon because they've had winter for far too long.
