Mr. Lynx is a rarely seen custodian/janitor who works at the Woodland Library.
Mr. Lynx at times has a somewhat grumpy personality, for example, when told to have a nice day grumbling that he's too busy to have a nice day. He, however, sometimes has a soft side. In "Franklin Sees the Big Picture," Franklin and Bear ask him to help hang a banner of Franklin with his Granny which Franklin had tried to hide out of embarrassment, as it depicts Granny reading him a book for little kids. He tells them that he'd like to help but that he's done decorating and has floors to polish. Franklin, however, tells him that he knows he doesn't have time to do it for him and asks if he has time to do it for his Granny and he relents, saying that he's not sure where to hang it, but that they'll think of something.
