Mr. Skunk is Skunk and Baby Skunk's father that appeared in Franklin and the husband of Mrs. Skunk. He is voiced by Shane McPherson. He runs the ice cream shop in Woodland and is usually seen wearing a pair of pince-nez spectacles.
In "Franklin and the Fire," Mr. Skunk is part of the clean-up team after Mr. Mole's hardware store burns, along with Mr. Raccoon and Mr. Turtle.
In "Franklin's Masterpiece," Mr. Skunk hosts a picture painting contest for the children of Woodland with the winner receiving a new skateboard and their picture personally displayed in the window of the shop. Franklin wins the contest and receives a personal call from Mr. Skunk informing him of the win. He, however, is later forced to admit that he used several ideas from his friends to make the painting and therefore it was not solely his idea.
In "Franklin and the Fortune Teller," it is mentioned that Mr. Skunk was putting in a new freezer at his ice cream shop. Due to this, he gives away ice cream from the old freezer, apparently for free. Fox states that he has never seen his shop so busy. Missing out the free ice cream is one of the many misfortunes that Franklin experiences that day, due to staying home because of Beaver's fortune-teller stating that he will have a bad day.
In "Franklin's Party Plans," Franklin and his friends briefly wonder who will run the ice cream shop after Skunk and her family move away from Woodland, until Skunk explains that they are only moving a block away from their old home.
