Season 2 is the second and final season of the CGI animated series Franklin, which served as a followup to the original Franklin TV series. It featured 25 episodes of two 11-minute stories, as well as one story which spanned an entire 22-minute episode, for a total of 51 stories.
Unlike the first season of the program, which saw a gap of approximately three months between the first set of 13 episodes and the next 13, this season's episodes aired continuously from September 28, 2013 until December 22, 2013. It was also followed up by two double-length specials: Polar Explorer and Deep Sea Voyage both of which were released on June 14, 2014.
